Lil Wayne apologizes for Black Lives Matter comments

Earlier in the week, the rapper had an interview with Nightline which turned out to be controversial as the the rapper dismissed the Black Lives Matter movement.Lil Wayne said “I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothing to do with me,”He added he was young, black and rich. “My life matter, especially to my b——,” he said, winking at the camera.

The rapper walked out of the TV interview shortly after, angrily telling ABC News’ Linsey Davis he’s not a “politician.”

The controversial interview with Nightline has generated so much media attention and disapproval.

Lil Wayne has apologized for his Nightline comments, according to TMZ. Lil Wayne said that he became agitated after the interviewer asked if he’d have any problem with his daughter being called a “bitch” or hoe. “From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses,”.
