Nigeria Moves 10 places Up FIFA Rankings

In the latest football rankings released by FIFA, Nigeria has moved up ten places and is now 5oth in the world and 8th in Africa with 616 points.

The last two matches of Super Eagles has seen them beat Zambia 2 v 1 and Algeria who is currently ranked 5th in Africa 3 v 1.

In preparation for their 2018 world cup qualifying match against Cameroon, the Super Eagles will be playing Senegal who is now first in Africa and 33rd on the FIFA world rankings, according to reports from the Nigeria Football Federation.

The next FIFA ranking will be published on December 22, 2016  – which will determine the winners for the Team of the Year and the Mover of the Year.
